These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which W.P.E SERVICES LIMITED provides non-hazardous waste collection and clearance services to households, property customers and local businesses.
They explain how enquiries become service arrangements, what information customers are expected to provide, how collection arrangements are handled, how prices and payments operate, and what happens when a collection needs to be changed or cancelled.
These terms should be read together with our Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Service Delivery & Collection Policy and Privacy Policy, where those policies apply to the relevant service.

Non-Hazardous Waste Collection & Clearance
What we provide.
W.P.E SERVICES LIMITED provides non-hazardous waste collection and clearance services for residential and local business customers.
- Household rubbish collection.
- Bulky household item collection.
- Garden waste collection.
- Office clearance.
- General commercial waste collection.
- Scheduled or recurring collection arrangements where separately agreed.
Our advertised services are limited to non-hazardous materials suitable for the collection arrangements offered. Materials outside the advertised scope should be identified before collection.
An enquiry is not automatically a booking.
Information submitted through the website contact form, by email or by telephone is treated as an enquiry until the collection details have been reviewed and the service arrangement has been confirmed.
- Submitting an enquiry does not by itself guarantee a collection date.
- A preferred date is a request and remains subject to availability.
- We may ask for additional information before confirming a collection.
- Photographs may be requested where they would help clarify the material, quantity or access conditions.
- A collection becomes an agreed service arrangement only when the relevant details, price where applicable and collection arrangements have been confirmed.
Information customers provide.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and reasonably complete information needed to assess and arrange the collection.
- Collection address.
- Description of the material.
- Approximate quantity or volume.
- Preferred collection date.
- Access information, including relevant gates, stairs or restrictions.
- Photographs where requested or useful.
If the information provided changes before collection, the customer should notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
Materials and collection suitability.
The customer must accurately describe the material intended for collection. The service is limited to materials that fall within the advertised non-hazardous collection scope.
- General household rubbish.
- Bulky household items.
- Garden waste.
- Office clearance material.
- General commercial waste within the agreed service scope.
Materials outside the advertised scope
Customers should not present materials that are hazardous, restricted or otherwise unsuitable for the advertised service. If the material presented is materially different from the information provided, collection may need to be reviewed or rearranged.
If you are unsure whether a particular material is suitable, provide details or photographs before the collection is confirmed.
Prices and estimates.
Where a service price can be confirmed in advance, the applicable price will be communicated before the collection is arranged.
Where the final price depends on factors such as quantity, material, access, collection address or the nature of the work, the basis for determining the price will be explained before the service is confirmed.
Customers should not assume that a website enquiry, preferred collection date or indicative starting price constitutes a final service price. The price applicable to a collection will be the amount confirmed for that particular arrangement.
Payment arrangements.
Where payment is required before or at the time of service, the applicable amount and payment instructions will be communicated as part of the service arrangement.
- Customers should ensure that the payment information supplied is accurate.
- A collection requiring advance payment will normally be scheduled after the required payment has been successfully completed.
- Customers should not make additional payments unless they have been requested or agreed as part of the collection arrangement.
- If the agreed collection details change materially, the applicable price may need to be reviewed before the revised service proceeds.
Collection dates and timing.
Collection dates and estimated arrival times will be arranged according to availability and the requirements of the particular collection.
Requested, then confirmed
A preferred date is not guaranteed until the collection has been confirmed.
Reasonable access required
Customers should have the agreed material and access arrangements ready at the agreed time.
Give notice early
Changes should ideally be communicated at least 24 hours before the agreed collection.
Smaller household collections may often take approximately 20–45 minutes, while larger household or property clearances may take approximately 45–90 minutes or longer depending on the amount of material, access and collection conditions. These are general estimates rather than guaranteed completion times.
Customer responsibilities.
Customers help the collection proceed smoothly by providing accurate information and making the agreed collection arrangements reasonably accessible.
- Provide accurate collection and contact information.
- Accurately describe the material to be collected.
- Provide reasonable access at the agreed collection time.
- Notify us of relevant access restrictions before collection.
- Keep unsuitable or excluded materials separate.
- Tell us promptly about material, quantity or address changes.
- Ensure that any necessary permission to access the collection location has been obtained.
Access to the collection address.
Customers should ensure that the collection team can reasonably reach the agreed collection point.
Where access is materially different from the information provided, the collection may need to be adjusted or rearranged.
- Gates, entrances and relevant access routes should be available where required.
- Any known parking or access restriction should be communicated before collection.
- Stairs, narrow access points or other relevant conditions should be disclosed where they may affect the collection.
- Material should be located at the agreed collection point unless another arrangement has been confirmed.
When the service starts.
A collection service generally begins when the agreed collection arrangement starts at the collection address or when the agreed work otherwise commences.
Once the service has started, cancellation and refund arrangements may depend on the amount of work already supplied. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy for the applicable details.
Cancellation and changes.
Customers may request cancellation or a change to an agreed collection arrangement. We ask that customers provide at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible.
- Cancellation 24 hours or more before collection will normally be considered without a short-notice cancellation charge.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before collection will still be reviewed according to the circumstances.
- Same-day cancellation should be communicated as soon as possible.
- Changes to address, material, quantity or access should ideally be communicated at least 24 hours before collection.
- Any statutory cancellation right available to a consumer takes priority over these operational notice arrangements.
Full details are set out in our Cancellation Policy.
Refunds.
Where a customer is entitled to a refund, the refund will normally be returned using the original payment method unless another method is reasonably agreed or required by applicable law.
- Eligible refunds will normally be processed within 14 days after the applicable refund amount has been confirmed.
- Where a statutory cancellation right applies, the applicable statutory refund timeframe will be followed.
- Where a service has partly been supplied, the refund may reflect the portion of the service already provided where permitted.
- Bank or payment-provider processing times after the refund has been submitted may vary.
Full details are set out in our Refund Policy.
Service standard.
Services supplied to consumers will be carried out with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the agreed service description, subject to the circumstances of the particular collection.
Where no specific completion time has been agreed, the service will be carried out within a reasonable time having regard to the nature of the collection and the circumstances affecting the service.
Collection estimates and preferred times are planning information unless a specific time or completion arrangement has been expressly confirmed.
Delays and rearrangements.
Collection timing can sometimes be affected by circumstances outside the original arrangement, including access conditions, unexpected collection requirements, operational issues or other circumstances affecting the scheduled service.
- We will communicate material changes to the collection arrangement where reasonably practical.
- Where appropriate, an alternative collection time or date may be offered.
- If a service cannot reasonably be provided and a refund is due, the applicable amount will be considered in accordance with the Refund Policy and applicable law.
Business customers.
Where services are provided to a business, additional arrangements may be agreed in writing according to the nature and frequency of the collection.
- Collection frequency.
- Collection address or addresses.
- Material type and expected quantity.
- Collection schedule.
- Price and payment arrangements.
- Notice requirements for changes or cancellation.
Where a separate written business agreement applies, that agreement will govern the specific arrangements it covers.
Service records.
We may retain reasonable records relating to enquiries, collection arrangements, communications, payments and service completion.
Records may be retained for operational, accounting, customer-service or legal purposes for the periods described in our Privacy Policy or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Circumstances outside reasonable control.

This section does not remove any consumer rights that continue to apply under law.

Changes to these terms.
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, operational arrangements or legal requirements change.
The terms applicable to an already confirmed service will not be changed retrospectively in a way that unfairly disadvantages the customer.
Customers should review the current version of these terms before arranging a new service.
If part of these terms cannot apply.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, disputes may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
The agreed collection.
The specific collection arrangement, including the agreed service, collection address, material description, applicable price and collection timing, forms part of the service arrangement between W.P.E SERVICES LIMITED and the customer.
Where a separate written agreement has been provided and accepted, its specific provisions will apply to the services it covers.
Please make sure the collection address, material type, approximate quantity, access conditions, agreed price and collection timing are understood before the service begins.
Need clarification?
If you have a question about these Terms & Conditions or about a proposed collection, please contact W.P.E SERVICES LIMITED before arranging the service.
We aim to provide clear information so customers can understand the service arrangement before it begins.
